Comicazi Presents: Not The Boston Comic Con 2013 - Great video wrap up of the fun event my local shop hosted in lieu of Boston Comic Con last month. The convention’s been rescheduled to August 3rd - 4th!
It was amazing when this came together. It was a bunch of quickfire IMs from one of the owners and Ming the night before the event. It was especially impressive since Comicazi was all packed up to be at Boston Comic Con and then literally had one night to unpack the truck of stuff they had and set up their own con.
SUBATOMIC PARTY GIRLS IS OUT TOMORROW! Before their big launch every magazine in the country (and several from outside of the country) has been trying to get the girls to do a photo spread and interview. It’s been CRAY. There’s even a sneak preview of Beryllium Steel’s historic launch to the moon over at CBR!!
And there’s still time to preorder the first digital issue HERE (and it’s a digital comic so if you miss the preorder, you can just buy it whenever).
P.S. I need to tell you guys that two of those magazine cover blurbs are 100% lifted from Cosmo because I couldn’t think of anything worse than what already existed. “12 NEW MEN SKILLS” and “BUTT FACIAL”. I’m not even joking. I’m 95% certain that butt facial just means putting skin care products on your butt and I’m not sure why it needs a headlining article because I’m pretty sure that most butts have skin on them. Also, wtf are men skills?

Well, the Baby’s First Mythos Kickstarter is fully funded so I’ve added some stretch goals. I’ve decided to illustrate comic adaptations of the series of short stories that make up Herbert West: Reanimator.
With every 5k we earn, I’ll do another comic of one of the six stories in the Herbert West series and every backer will get a digital copy.

CHRIS HALEY DREW GUY GARDNER FOR ME! Although he was supposed to draw Guy Gardner: Warrior because I figured that would be the Guy Gardner equivalent of Prime.
Baby’s First Mythos Kickstarter Update. So, a few people have asked me about the prints that you get. They’ll all be colored images from the book but since I’m not completely done with the book yet I didn’t want to select the four I’ll be making prints of.
However, I did decide that Innsmouth had to be one of them. So this should give an idea of what the prints will be like.
